This week the kids drew pictures of idioms, and the results were pretty funny

    My students had to do this and it was one of my favorite assignments ever! I think highschoolers should do this because it is all about how fun language is and how to enrich their writing. Put them up around the school too! (Great community building activity)

      It was fun. And we did hang them in the hallway. They were getting so much attention some of the other 8th grade teachers came by to ask us about them and I noticed they have hung their versions of the assignment in their hallways too. It’s cool because they are all over the school now.
